The monster has large blades for hands and has faced Godzilla on more than one occasion.

Gigan is a pretty famous Godzilla monster who has teamed up with King Ghidorah in the past. In addition to naming Biollante and Gigan for a future movie, the director said that Anguirus and MechaGodzilla are some of his favorite monsters.

Dougherty is not attached to Godzilla 3 at this time, but it seems as if he's open to taking on a third movie, which will more than likely be revealed after the box office run for the latest movie and 2020's Godzilla vs. In a recent interview to promote Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Michael Dougherty revealed that he'd love to use Toho monsters Biollante and Gigan for a possible third installment. Dougherty and his team look like they have come up with a worthy follow up to Gareth Edwards' 2014 Godzilla movie. Godzilla is back with a slightly updated tail and feet, along with King Ghidorah, Rodan, and Mothra, who all look incredible. Dougherty recently finished the final cut of his upcoming project, and from all of the promotional material that we have seen, it looks truly epic. Godzilla: King of the Monsters director Michael Dougherty wants to include two more Toho monsters in a possible Godzilla 3.
